Torquay manager Paul Buckle has said he has no interest in offloading players from his table-topping squad.Last week Buckle rejected an offer from an unnamed League One club for 21-year-old central defender Mark Ellis.

Buckle told the club's official website: "My phone has been ringing but I'm not interested in selling anyone.

"Elliot Benyon is the obvious one because he is playing up front and getting goals, but we have a number of young players performing well."

He added: "Mark Ellis was immense against Bradford and we also have Eunan O'Kane, Billy Kee and Danny Stevens who are all good young players."

The Gulls currently have a 100% record in League Two, having won all three of their opening games, with the latest a 2-0 win over Bradford on Saturday.
