But Where and How Much?

It has finally been cleared up by Torquay United Chairman Mike Bateson that Adebayo Akinfenwa will definitely be leaving United after just one season at the club.

Promoted Swansea City have joined Bristol City in acquiring permission to speak to the player, who has a £150,000 price tag on his head although the final figure is likely to be settled by an independent tribunal.

It appears that Akinfenwa was upset at being offered more money, even though his club had just been relegated. Perhaps he needs the extra money following his defection from his current agent (solicitors) to a new non-FIFA approved agency.

United have been linked with Bournemouth frontman Alan Connell who has scored 11 goals in 22 starts with the Cherries. Connell has hinted that there are other clubs in the hunt.
