Former PSG Player To Face Mansfield
International clearance has come through for new French striker Carl Priso, formerly of French and European giants Paris St. Germain.United signed the player after a weeks trial following his departure from German club Chemnitzer.
Torquay United Head Coach said "I was very impressed with Carl in training,"
"He's 6ft-plus, aggressive, left-footed and he's got a good touch.
"He's different to the strikers we've already got, and he's someone we can work with.
"We've looked around. There are big strikers about, but the way we try and pass the ball, I wanted someone who could play, and Carl can.
"He had four years at PSG, and he's had experience in France, Italy and Germany."
It does look as though United have now reached their squad capacity.
Chairman Mike Bateson commented: "That's the squad completed.
"It's one over what we planned really, and I've been mulling it over for a couple of days.
