Icelandic goalkeeper Olafur Gottskalksson is currently in talks with Torquay United for a contract until the end of the season.
Gottskalksson, 36, has been with the club for three weeks, but has been unable to show his ability in any match situation due to a freak accident at his home two weeks ago.
Finally he was able to show his ability against Team Bath at Bath University yesterday afternoon. It is expected that "Ollie" will sign today, with official confirmation from the club tomorrow.
Once signed, it is expected that Gottskalksson will go straight into first team action for the visit of Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, replacing want away Dutchman Arjan van Heusden. |
