That's Another Fine Mess!

United have agreed terms with former Icelandic International goalkeeper Ollie Gottskalksson until the end of the seaseon.

However, as is the norm with United, nothing is ever straight forward as Ollie now needs to repay the insurance money he received when he retired due to injury two years ago. It is not known whether United are responsible to repay this amount or not and it has been confirmed that he has totally recovered from his injury following treatment in Iceland.

As Gottskalksson is signed on non-contract terms with Margate, Torquay have to put in seven days' notice, but this may be waived by the "selling" club to allow the player to make his debut at home to Tranmere Rovers this Saturday.
