Shared Responsibility Good for the Gulls

After spending most of the season deciding which two strikers worked best together Leroy Rosenior has gone for all three.

Injuries meant that Jo Kuffour, Adebayo Akinfenwa and Leon Constantine all started in the home game against Hartlepool United on 15 January, six games ago. Although United lost the game against Hartlepool they have won two and drawn three of the five games since.

During this run Akinfenwa has scored four, Kuffour three and Constantine two. This has pushed Torquay closer to safety.

The bonus of having the three strikers all involved in this run is that if one of them is off form, as Constantine was against former club Peterborough United, one of the other two will take responsibility for scoring.
