Blow to van Heusden and Dearden
Manager Leroy Rosenior has shown that he has no faith in the two men who keep goal at Plainmoor.Rosenior, who brought in Bertrand Bossu on loan from Gillingham for 3 months before he returned to Kent with a suspected knee injury after just two games, has shown that he has no confidence in Arjan van Heusden and Kevin Dearden by looking for a replacement.
Dearden was prefered for the match against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, presumably due to his ability in being able to control the inexperienced defenders in front of him, and he well may get the nod again when an even more inexperienced back four take on League One leading goalscorers Luton Town.
The question must be asked whether a club with no reserve team need three 'keepers, and how can you keep them happy?
