Goal of the Month for December

Torquay United earnt more points than the amount of goals they scored during December, and all four goals feature in this month's competition.

Of the four goals scored, record signing Leon Constantine scored three of them in one game, away at Brentford on Boxing Day and is odds on to win this months award, but which goal will it be?

1. Jamie Gosling v Chesterfield (a) 1-0

Bedeau was played through behind the defence and his shot was blocked by the Chesterfield goalkeeper Carl Muggleton. Gosling followed in to drive home a shot from 16 yards past the despairing defenders.

2. Leon Constantine v Brentford (a) 1-1

A free-kick from 22 yards out, curled over the top of the wall and under the keepers body

3. Leon Constantine v Brentford (a) 2-1

Played the ball through for Bedeau, who looked in an offside position. The ball deflected off a defender and Constantine carried on his run, clipping the ball over the advancing keeper.

4. Leon Constantine v Brentford (a) 3-1

Good work by Bedeau in the inside right channel, chose to cross for Constantine to complete his hat-trick rather than shoot himself. Constantine took one touch and fired into the net from 10 yards.

A strange month where United scored no goals at Plainmoor
