Torquay United's new signing Oswaldo Lopes is set to make his debut for the club in tomorrows game against the team that United pipped for automatic promotion last season, Huddersfield Town.

United recorded their first home win of the season against the Terriers back in October, but the Yorkshire side will be the clear favourites.

Lopes, who signed this week after getting International clearance for a move during the January transfer window is set to replace playmaker Alex Russell who is still struggling with an achilles tendon injury picked up early in the New Year game against Stockport County.

United's injury problems are worsening as Jo Kuffour and Leon Constantine are rated as only 50/50 to play and Tony Bedeau must pass a fitness test to play.

In defence Brian McGlinchley and Craig Taylor are expected to start alongside Steve Woods, Paul Robinson and Lee Canoville.

The Gulls-mad expected line up is: (3-5-1-1) Gottskalksson; Woods, Robinson, Taylor; Canoville, Gosling, Lopes, Woodman, McGlinchley; Hill; Akinfenwa. subs: Villis, Phillips, Hockley, Pulis, Story.
