Former Gull Eifion Williams is looking to score against his former club when he takes on United at Plainmoor tomorrow.

United have a terrible home record this season and until recently Hartlepool had the worst away record in the league, but have turned it around lately including five goals at the Racecourse Ground against Wrexham and subsequent draws with Bristol City and Barnsley.

Torquay are having difficulties at home, Leroy Rosenior is finding the tactics difficult where the team are expected to attack, whereas away from home they can absorb the pressure and attack on the break.

Alex Russell and Leon Constantine are expected to make comebacks tomorrow, however goalkeeper Ole Gottskalksson has been suffering with a virus and was not able to train yesterday. Kevin Dearden is on standby.

Gulls-Mad starting line up: Gottskalksson; Woods, Robinson, Taylor; Canoville, Russell, Gosling, Hill, McGlinchley; Bedeau, Constantine subs: Gosling, Villis, Akinfenwa, Phillips, Dearden.
