Torquay United have the worst record in Coca-Cola League One after scoring the first goal of the game.

United once again squandered a 1-0 lead following defeat at Plainmoor against Hartlepool United today, the third time they have lost after scoring the first goal in a game. United have scored first in twelve games this season and won only four of those games and drawn five.

The defeat today came after Jo Kuffour scored in the first half which was totally dominated by United, however some tinkering with the system by Leroy Rosenior ultimately led to the downfall in the second half.

If United hope to avoid relegation they will need to toughen up and get results out of games such as this.
